The 256MB RAM limit has claimed more casualties: in addition to Skype, it seems that Angry Birds, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 and the videocall app Tango all refuse to install on low-memory phones, like the Lumia 610.
Does a simple game like Angry Birds really run so dismally on 256MB RAM that the installation needed to be blocked? This could be a big blow to Nokia’s budget devices—Angry Birds is apparently a somewhat big thing in some corners of the globe, after all. Or so we hear.
It seems that Rovio agrees, since they’ve apparently already started work on an optimized version of Angry Birds for the Lumia 610. The release date is still unknown at this time.
