Wordament gets an update

Black, like the hearts of people who don't like orange.

Remember this wordy game? Now there’s a reason to get back to it: a new update has just rolled in!

The developers of Wordament, You vs. The Internet, have definitely been listening to user feedback as Wordament 2.1 takes care of many common complaints about the game:

  • The systray is back
The clock, battery information and such were removed from the Xbox LIVE version, but now the systray is back due to popular demand. Just swipe from the top of the phone onto the screen and the tray appears.
  • Monochrome background option
Those who can’t handle bright colors, or any colors at all, now get to choose a neutral monochrome background for the game.
  • Improved connectivity
The amount of data needed to transmit has been reduced and there is now better in-game guidance about connection problems.
  • Better touch experience on bigger screens, like Lumia 900
Some phones were discovered to be a bit less responsive than others. This problem has now been solved.

If you can’t find the update yet, just wait a bit. It’s set to roll out around the world at different times.
